Energy Launch Developments, with the assistance of Wenck Associates, Inc., recently submitted comments to the Environmental Protection Agency’s proposed rules that redefine and restrict the use of secondary materials that could otherwise be utilized as fuels to generate renewable energy. ELD is concerned that the proposed modifications to the definition of Solid Waste will have the unintended consequence of limiting renewable energy project development, while forcing commercial and industrial entities to landfill secondary materials and waste streams that may otherwise be used to generate renewable energy.
